As men age, the brows can begin to sag due to reduced collagen and elastin protein production. This results in the skin looking older, with the emergence of wrinkles and the development of sagging skin. A brow lift is ideal for reshaping the brows and lifting the forehead. This gives men the youthful and energized appearance they desire.

What is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift, also commonly referred to as a forehead lift, is a cosmetic procedure designed to revive the look of the upper face. This aesthetic treatment targets the skin above the eyes, deep creases across the forehead, and drooping skin along the brow line. By removing loose skin on the forehead and repositioning the muscles and tissues, the brow lift procedure can lift a heavy or drooping brow while rejuvenating your facial contours.

A brow lift procedure is commonly performed alongside a facelift since the skin cohesively ages. This allows for more balanced results and enhances your youthful look. Patients can also opt to receive an eyelid lift or skin resurfacing treatment with their brow lift.

BEFORE & AFTER GALLERY

Brow Lift Surgery

At Tucson Plastic Surgery, we utilize two brow lift techniques. These include the minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift and the traditional coronal brow lift. Both procedures are performed under general anesthesia to help you maintain comfort during your surgery.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

During the endoscopic brow lift, minor incisions are made behind your hairline to reduce the look of scarring. An endoscope tool is used to view the treatment areas, allowing for the repositioning of the brows.

Traditional Brow Lift

During the traditional procedure, a coronal incision will be made through the hairline from one ear to the other. The forehead skin and soft facial tissue are lifted, and the brows are repositioned into a more suitable position. The scar is closed and carefully concealed in the hairline.

Recovery Process

Brow Lift Recovery

10 to 14 days

Your brow lift will be performed on an outpatient basis. Your recovery period can last between 10 and 14 days. Possible side effects include but are not limited to swelling, bruising, tenderness, numbness, itchiness, and bleeding. It would be best if you kept your head elevated during recovery to reduce swelling and aid your healing journey.
