Flying to Tucson

Our practice is located in beautiful Tucson surrounded by championship golf courses, peaceful spas, and stunning resorts, not to mention the amazing, trend-setting restaurants. Tucson was the first city to earn the designation of World City of Gastronomy by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Plus, with a thriving visual and performing arts scene and respected galleries and museums, Tucson’s vibrant multicultural heritage shines.

We are pleased to have partnered with local resorts. They offer our patients reduced rates and exclusive benefits year-round.

Hacienda del Sol

Forbes 4-Star historic jewel in the Sonoran Desert. Nestled at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountain Range, Hacienda Del Sol is a relaxing refuge with breathtaking views and a storied history. Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn are among many of the famous names who’ve strolled the grounds of this stunning resort, which is included in the National Registry of Historic Places in Arizona and is a member of Historic Hotels of America. They have special rates for patients of Tucson Plastic Surgery.

Ventana Canyon Resort

From the moment you arrive at our luxury resort in Tucson, you are greeted with a magnificent view of the Catalina Mountains and indigenous saguaro cactus in every direction. With the distinct Sonoran desert smell filling the air around you, you get a sense that Loews Ventana Canyon is a luxury hotel unlike any other. Here, you’ll find amenities and services that make you feel like you’ve just checked into paradise. During your stay, we encourage you to enjoy the sunshine, the miles of hiking trails, the 80-foot waterfall, and all of our other relaxing, indulgent offerings.

Homewood Suites by Hilton

Located in the entertainment district, the hotel is also within a 10-minute drive of Tucson Botanical Gardens, and the University of Arizona, and the Reid Park Zoo. It does offer an outdoor pool and a fitness center as well as a hair salon and a picnic area. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily.

What to Expect

Step One: Consultation

Oftentimes, patients who live outside of Arizona may meet with our surgeons in a virtual consultation. We have a secure, HIPAA compliant (ensures your information and our interaction is protected) online communication portal. Of course, you can fly in to have your consultation in person if you prefer. Either way, you’ll have the opportunity to show the surgeons your areas of concern and hear their recommendations in a detailed consultation.

Your patient care coordinator will also be present in your consultation to discuss fees, accommodations, and timing with you, including how long you’ll need to stay in the area after your plastic surgery.

Step Two: Scheduling

Your patient care coordinator will assist in scheduling your surgery on the date that works best for you.  It is important that you have met your surgeon in person before your actual surgery to perform a thorough exam, review the surgical plan and answer any additional questions.  At your pre-op appointment, we will review pre-and post-op instructions and sign paperwork. We allow plenty of time for this visit to answer any questions you may have.

Before you travel, you will receive a packet in the mail or by email with all the information you need to be fully prepared for your office visit and for surgery. A deposit is needed to hold a date and we require final payment at least two weeks before surgery.

Step Three: Recovery

If needed, you may spend a night in our aftercare facility. The professional staff will oversee your comfort and take care of any post-op needs you may have.

You can then recover in a local resort or hotel (at special rates) for the remainder of your stay in Arizona. Depending on how far you are traveling, some patients drive home the same day while others plan a 7-to-10-day trip to accommodate post-op visits and enjoy a relaxing recovery in the oasis of Tucson. Later follow-ups can again be done virtually. Your well-being is our top priority.
