Tuberous Breast Surgery Process
Tuberous breast surgery is usually achieved through two steps, though some patients may only need one. Depending on the severity of the tuberous breasts, the procedure may differ from patient to patient. First, a procedure will be done to release any constricted breast tissue. A small incision will be created in the breast to insert either a tissue expander or a breast implant. Then, a follow up surgery will be needed to complete the transformation. The tissue expander will be removed and a breast implant will take its place. The nipples may also be modified.
